Four-Car Accident with Two Trapped in Franklin

FRANKLIN, CT - At 5:49 a.m. on Thursday, April 16th, the Franklin Fire Department with Norwich Engine 1 and Squad A, Bozrah Ambulance 526, Lebanon Rescue 106 and Ambulance 506, American Paramedics and the Connecticut State Police were dispatched to the area of 387 Route 32 for a vehicle accident with entrapment.


Franklin’s Chief Car 25 arrived to a four-car accident with one on its side and patients trapped in two vehicles.


Crews stabilized the vehicles and then completed a partial roof removal to extricate the patient from the rolled SUV. Companies then performed a dash lift to extricate the patient from the second vehicle.


?All parties worked seamlessly together to provide a positive outcome.
