Colchester, VT - The Colchester Fire Department responded on mutual aid to the City of Winooski for a reported structure fire, operating with an engine and aerial apparatus.
Crews assisted with suppression efforts as the fire was quickly brought under control before being released from the scene.
Units were later dispatched to a detached structure fire off Roosevelt Highway, arriving to find a free-standing building fully involved.
Firefighters initiated an exterior attack, successfully knocking down the fire while preventing extension to a nearby residence and surrounding property.
