Fire Heavily Damages House in Groveland

GROVELAND, NY - Around 4:30 A.M. on Friday, April 14th, Groveland firefighters were dispatched to a house fire at 7304 Groveland Hill Road in Groveland.


Upon arrival, command declared a working fire and mutual aid was requested from Dansville, Mount Morris, Conesus, Nunda, Sparta and Cuylerville fire departments.


All of the occupants of the home along with their pets were able to safely escape, and there were no injuries reported.


The blaze was brought under control in about one hour.


The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
