Blaine Hill VFC Crews Provide Mutual Aid Coverage During Multi-Alarm Fire

12 April 2026 - Crews from Blaine Hill Volunteer Fire Company responded to assist neighboring departments during a multi-alarm structure fire in the Glassport district. They provided coverage for Vigilant Hose Company #1 of Port Vue (Station 237) and the Volunteer Fireman’s Association of Liberty Borough while those units were actively engaged at the scene.


Engine 142 (Attack) was dispatched to the incident with a crew, while Truck 142 was assigned to cover the Port Vue and Liberty Borough districts (Stations 237 and 183). Meanwhile, Blaine Hill’s station remained fully staffed, ensuring uninterrupted fire protection coverage for Elizabeth Township and Elizabeth Borough.
