New Britain, CT. - Fire heavily damaged the east end of a strip mall on April 14th. Firefighters arrived at 842 West Main Street just before midnight with fire through the roof of a business on the east end of the strip mall and set up a defensive operation because of the heavy fire conditions. The fire was mostly held to that end of the building. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
