Oxford Crews Manage Morning and Afternoon MVC Calls

OXFORD, CT — March 20th — Two different rollover-related car crashes were handled by the Oxford Center Volunteer Fire Company. On Quaker Farms Road, the initial collision was recorded at around 8:29 a.m. Later in the day, at approximately 2:11 p.m., there was another incident on Good Hill Road. Along with Oxford EMS and the Oxford Police Department, Engine 31, Rescue 44, Rescue 54, and Cars 1 and 3 responded to both calls.


Both situations were secured, cars were inspected for dangers, and occupants received assistance as needed. Before they arrived, everyone had gotten out of their cars. After completing both deployments, units returned to service with no reported injuries.
