Hudson, ME - Hudson Fire & Rescue responded to a structure fire on Berry Pit Road, arriving to find a shed fully involved just feet from a nearby home.

The heat had already melted siding and caused minor charring to the exterior of the residence, with fire also extending into the surrounding woods.

Crews acted quickly to contain the fire, preventing further damage to the home and limiting the spread to approximately a small area of vegetation. Glenburn Fire Department assisted on scene, along with additional mutual aid departments, helping bring the incident under control.
