Second Alarm Trailer Fire Quickly Brought Under Control in Conklin

Conklin, NY - The Conklin Volunteer Fire Department, along with multiple mutual aid agencies, responded to a trailer fire on Conklin Road with flames showing from the kitchen.


Due to multiple reports and advancing fire conditions, the incident was upgraded to a second alarm.


The first arriving engine initiated defensive operations as crews worked to contain the well involved fire. Firefighters brought the blaze under control and transitioned to overhaul within a short period.


All occupants safely evacuated with no reported injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and officials credited mutual aid partners for their support during the incident.
