Bolivar, NY - The Bolivar Fire Department responded on mutual aid to a structure fire in the town of Wirt, where the chief arrived first on scene and reported a fully involved single story building.

Bolivar units responded with limited staffing, integrating with Richburg and Allentown crews who initiated the initial fire attack.

Additional personnel assisted with suppression efforts while mutual aid departments, including Clarksville and Friendship, established a sustained water supply through tanker shuttle operations. The coordinated effort allowed crews to bring the fire under control and complete overhaul, highlighting strong interagency cooperation on the fireground
