WILLIAMSTOWN, NJ - A parachuter who was reportedly caught in a tree prompted the Williamstown Fire Department to respond to a rescue mission at Cross Keys Skydive, March 29th. When units arrived, they discovered that the person was hung above the ground and needed a technical rescue. After securing the area, firefighters used rope equipment and ground ladders to get to the patient. The parachutist was safely removed and brought to the ground by crews working in a controlled manner.
