EAST BRENTWOOD, NY - At 4:46 P.M. on Friday, April 7th, the East Brentwood Fire Department was activated for a reported vehicle fire in the parking lot of 694 Motor Parkway. Chief of Department Frankie Vasquez [3-3-30] was first on scene and had an involved auto at the entrance to the shopping center. Firefighters from 3-3-1 and 1st Assistant Chief Bryant Figueroa [3-3-31] quickly extinguished the fire without incident and the scene was placed under control shortly after. Also on scene was 3-3-5. There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is unknown.
