JAMES CITY, PA — March 26th — A vehicle fire was reported on Route 948 in Highland Township, prompting units from the Highland Township VFD, located at 140 Pennsylvania Ave. When workers arrived, they saw a blazing car and started using handlines to put it out. Firefighters attempted to contain the fire and deal with electrical and fuel-related risks.

During a busy operational period, the Ridgway Fire Department provided on-site assistance to support overhaul and suppression efforts.
