Dayton Firefighters Support Suppression Efforts in Hawthorn

DAYTON — April 6th — The Dayton District Volunteer Fire Company responded early Monday morning to assist the Hawthorn Area Volunteer Fire Department - Station 560 at a reported house fire.


The mutual help mission included the sending of a tanker, engine, and rescue. Alongside Station 560 staff, crews assisted with water delivery and suppression activities.


In order to help bring the situation under control, firefighters worked under a coordinated command structure, helping with fireground activities.
