Coordinated Water Rescue Frees Occupant from Creek Rollover

Pittsburgh, PA - Cherry City Volunteer Fire Company responded to a vehicle overturned into Pine Creek in Etna Borough, with occupants reported inside. Command confirmed a single vehicle in the water upon arrival.
Rescue 260 crews, working with mutual aid from Companies 149 and 102 and Shaler Hampton EMS, extricated the occupant from the vehicle and removed them from the creek to awaiting EMS personnel. Crews on the banks established ladders and rope systems to support safe egress.
A search of the surrounding area confirmed no additional victims. The incident was handled efficiently through strong coordination among all responding agencies.
