Oven Fire Quickly Contained at Butterlow Café

Fredonia , NY - Fredonia Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 31 E. Main St., the Butterlow Café. Firefighters found the fire confined to the oven and quickly brought it under control, limiting damage to minor heat effects in the immediate area.
The response was led by First Assistant Chief Chuck Ortolano, with support from Second Assistant Chief Ken Haas and the 4th Platoon under Lt. Tim Fisher. Assisting agencies included the City of Dunkirk Fire Department, East Town of Dunkirk Fire, Alstar Ambulance, and the Fredonia Building Codes Office.
No injuries were reported, and the coordinated efforts of all departments ensured a swift and effective resolution.
