Coordinated Response: Laureldale Fire Rescue Handles Back-to-Back Incidents

Mays Landing, NJ - Laureldale Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the Weymouth section of the Township. Upon arrival, Tanker 1838 and Engine 1833 were assigned to assist with fire suppression and overhaul operations, working alongside mutual aid partners to bring the incident under control. Tanker 1839 supported the effort by establishing a reliable water supply.


While units operated on scene for approximately two hours, Elwood Volunteer Fire Company provided district coverage, ensuring continued protection for Laureldale residents.


Shortly after clearing the incident, Laureldale crews were dispatched to a residence in the Laureldale section for a reported smoke condition. Firefighters located a jacket that had ignited in a basement hallway, producing smoke throughout the home. Crews conducted a thorough check for any fire extension, ventilated the residence, and ensured the situation was fully mitigated without further escalation.
