Company 97, Medic 505, and fire police units from Companies 97 and 95 arrived at the intersection of Route 100 and Hoffmansville Road at 1:50 p.m. on March 24th in response to a reported car accident with potential fire and unidentified injuries.
When Chief 97 arrived, he verified that the collision had occurred on Hoffmansville Road, which is right off Route 100. The driver was reportedly trapped as the car rolled multiple times before coming to a stop in a neighboring field.
When Rescue/Engine 97 arrived, they started removing the driver's door with hand tools. After that, firefighters helped Medic 505 with patient care and debris removal. Units operating on scene included Rescue/Engine 97, Engine 97, and Brush 97-1. Fire police closed the roadway until the vehicle was removed by a tow company.
