HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — March 25th — As part of the Warren County mutual aid system, the Hackettstown Fire Department responded to a morning structure fire in Allamuchy Township. Initially, Hackettstown units were sent as the FAST (Firefighter Assist and Search Team), a standby team tasked with keeping an eye on inside activities and supporting firefighters in the event of a mayday. The crew was promptly assigned to help businesses that were already running at the scene after arriving and finishing staging responsibilities.
While crews sought to confine the fire, firefighters assisted with suppression operations and checked the building for extension. During working incidents, additional personnel and equipment are provided by mutual aid responses across regional agencies. Before the fire was contained, crews worked on the area for a while. There were no reported injuries.
