Hampton Engine 13-1 Assists at Bethlehem Township Chimney Fire

On March 14th, Engine 13-1 from Hampton Fire Company Station 13 responded to Hickory Ridge Road in Bethlehem Township to aid the Pattenburg Volunteer Fire Company, Station 25, of Union Township, with a reported chimney fire.
When they arrived, the fire had already been quenched. Hampton firefighters helped crews from the High Bridge Fire Department ladder company, Bloomsbury Hose Company No. 1, and Pattenburg Fire with ventilation and overhaul work.
Crews worked to remove smoke from the home, clean the fireplace, and inspect and clean the chimney flue to ensure that no extension remained.
