Jay Fire & Rescue Responds to a Busy Series of Emergencies Across Town
Jay, ME - Jay Fire & Rescue managed a demanding stretch of calls, highlighted by this incident and followed by several additional emergencies throughout the community. Crews responded to a working fire in Turner, motor vehicle accidents on both ends of Hyde Road, another crash on the 800 block of Franklin Road, a chimney fire on East Jay Road, multiple medical calls, and a CO alarm.
This series of incidents demonstrates the department’s ability to handle high call volume while maintaining strong coordination and effective response at every scene. Firefighters continued to deliver prompt, professional service despite the rapid pace of incoming calls.
