Foster, RI - The Foster Center Volunteer Fire Company responded to a reported hot tub fire, where firefighters arrived to find that the homeowner’s quick thinking—and the availability of multiple fire extinguishers—had already knocked down most of the flames.

Crews confirmed full extinguishment by using extrication equipment to lift the hot tub and access concealed areas where fire can linger. Firefighters then located and cooled remaining hot spots to prevent rekindling.
