CHVFC Assists at Motor Vehicle Accident on Blodgett Hill Road

Coeymans Hollow, NY - CHVFC was dispatched to evaluate an injured male following a motor vehicle accident in the area of Blodgett Hill Road and Cedar Grove Road. Car 6-02 arrived first and found a disabled vehicle blocking both lanes, with multiple police units and the Selkirk Fire Department already on scene due to initial 911 mapping.
Car 6-01 requested Fire Police to assist with a full road closure. Albany County Medic 3 and Ravena Rescue Squad managed patient care while CHVFC members supported traffic control operations. Selkirk Fire Department secured the vehicle and handled leaking fluids.
Rescue 6-40 responded to assist with shutting down the roadway. After the vehicle was removed by Burns Towing, the road was reopened and all units returned to service.
