Crews Extinguish Morning Vehicle Fire at Inn at Woodstock Hill

WOODSTOCK, CT — March 11th — Early in the morning, firefighters from the Department Woodstock Vol Fire Assoc. reacted to a car fire at the Inn at Woodstock Hill. When crews arrived, they saw a blazing car on the property and promptly started suppression efforts. In addition to using a handline to contain the fire, firefighters looked around to make sure the flames hadn't spread to any adjacent structures or plants. No casualties were recorded, and the fire was quickly contained.
Fire services frequently respond to vehicle fires, which may entail mechanical or electrical problems. Coordinated efforts and quick action help prevent damage and safeguard surrounding structures. The department thanked the responding staff for their efforts in handling the situation.
