Tanker 23 and Ladder 25 Handle Highway Fire Incident

West Greenwich Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 responded to a vehicle fire on Route 95 North between Exits 19 and 21 on April 3rd.


Tanker 23 and Ladder 25 were dispatched to the scene and operated on the roadway while workers tried to contain the fire and protect the area. Motorists were advised to exercise caution in the area and anticipate potential traffic delays while firefighters worked.


By 20:30 hours, firms had extinguished the fire and cleared the route, allowing traffic to resume its normal flow.
