On March 28th, Bristol firefighters rushed to help the Portsmouth Fire Department with a fire in Portsmouth. Crews from Ladder 1 and Engine 4 assisted as part of a mutual aid reaction.

Firefighters assisted Portsmouth teams in extinguishing the fire and providing support for on-scene operations. During an emergency, the reaction exhibited coordination and collaboration among surrounding departments. The Special Signal Fire Association/Providence Canteen also provides support services to firemen.
