STAMFORD, CT - Members of the Belltown fire department responded to a brush fire behind a residence on Applebee Road, March 29th. With elevated fire danger in the area, conditions created a high risk for rapid fire spread, making swift intervention critical. Upon arrival, firefighters assessed the situation and deployed a hose line to stop the flames from advancing toward nearby vegetation and structures. Their quick and coordinated efforts brought the fire under control before it could escalate.
