Ellington, NY -The Ellington Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire within the Ellington Fire District. During the incident, motorists were advised to avoid the area of Thornton Road between Bentley Hill Road and Wade Hill Road as fire crews worked on scene.
Traffic approaching from Hagerdon and Harris Hollow was directed to take alternate routes, avoiding Thornton Road to ensure safe and efficient emergency operations.
