2nd Alarm Struck for Garage Fire Threatening Home in Plainfield Twp.

PLAINFIELD TWP., PA - Just before midnight on April 1st, the Plainfield Township Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire with flames coming from the garage.
The first arriving unit, EMS-27, reported a fully involved detached garage with fire extending to the resident's home. With this update, Captain 36-54 requested a second-alarm.
The fire was contained to the garage, while the home sustained heat and smoke damage. No injuries were reported, and the Red Cross was requested to assist the residents.
