Chepachet, RI — March 12th — During a busy operating time, the Chepachet Fire Department handled a number of calls, including multiple medical responses, two structural fires, and water-related incidents. While more equipment and personnel reacted to support operations, the first arriving forces established command and started suppression and mitigation efforts. As crews dealt with the accidents throughout the day, mutual aid departments from neighboring municipalities provided station coverage and manpower.

Major injuries were not recorded, and all problems were brought under control. Additionally, locals were cautioned by fire officials to stay out of dangerous circumstances like fires or other catastrophes. Residents are urged to dial 911, maintain a safe distance, and let emergency officials and qualified firemen handle the situation properly.
