Elmira Heights Provides Mutual Aid for Elmira Structure Fire

On March 16th, at 10:49 AM, the Elmira Heights Fire Department was dispatched to offer automatic mutual aid to the Elmira Fire Department in response to a reported structure fire.


Elmira Heights firefighters arrived to aid crews operating in the city of Elmira, New York, and provided suppression and on-scene support. The reaction emphasized the continued collaboration between nearby departments when more personnel and equipment are required.


Mutual aid agreements are still an important feature of emergency response throughout the region, allowing departments to collaborate smoothly during working crises.
