Queensbury Firefighters Handle Afternoon Structure Fire Call

Around 14:45 p.m. on March 17, firefighters from the Queensbury Central Fire Company responded to reports of a structure fire at the Adirondack Gun Range. Car 215 arrived on the scene and confirmed a working fire, activating the department's mutual aid plan.


Engine 318 was the first on the scene, and workers were able to swiftly extinguish the fire, preventing it from spreading deeper into the structure. Firefighters remained on the scene for an overhaul and investigation before returning to duty about 18:45 hours.


Mutual aid assistance was provided by the West Glens Falls Fire Department, Bay Ridge Fire Department, South Queensbury Fire Department, North Queensbury Fire Department, and Kingsbury Fire Department, which covered the station. West Glens Falls EMS also assisted. The Warren County Office of Fire Investigation, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, and New York State Police responded to the incident.
