Glen Gardner Fire Company Responds to Odor Investigation, Clears Scene Quickly

12 March 2026 — The Glen Gardner Fire Company responded to an odor investigation at an occupied dwelling in the 100 building of Spruce Hills Drive in Glen Gardner Borough, dispatching Chief 12, Engine 12, Squad 12, Tender 12, and Brush 12 with a total of 14 firefighters.


Mutual aid units also assisted on the box alarm, including Ladder 14 from High Bridge, Engine 13 from Hampton, Pumper Tender 46 from Annandale, and BLS 36 from South Branch. Crews investigated the source of the odor and were able to mitigate the situation efficiently, with all units clearing the scene in under 30 minutes. The call was one of four incidents handled by the department that day, demonstrating continued readiness and response capability.


The department also encouraged those interested in serving their community to consider joining their ranks.
