March 19, 2026 — The Bristol Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire along a local roadway, where crews acted swiftly to bring the incident under control and prevent further hazards. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a passenger vehicle heavily involved with smoke and fire conditions emanating from the engine compartment. Crews deployed a handline and initiated an aggressive fire attack, successfully knocking down the flames and cooling the vehicle within a short period of time. The quick response helped minimize damage and ensured the safety of surrounding traffic and nearby areas. No injuries were reported, and the scene was secured after overhaul operations were completed.
