Truck Vs. Tree on Route 300 in Newburgh

NEWBURGH, NY - Town of Newburgh Police Officers, Cronomer Valley FD and EMS responded to a report of a vehicle into a tree on State Route 300, by Jeanne Drive, on March 26th. The driver was out of the vehicle when units arrived. Firefighters used chainsaws to cut branches and part of the tree away from the vehicle. Town of Newburgh EMS transported the driver to Montefiore-St. Luke's Hospital. The fire department stood by until the tow truck arrived. The Town of Newburgh Police Dept. is investigating the cause.
