Multiple Vehicles Damaged in Body Shop Fire; Crews Prevent Further Spread

Baldwin, GA - Emergency crews responded to a reported fire at a local body shop, with Engine 17, Engine 4, Squad 17, Atrium EMS units, and Chief 1, Chief 2, and Chief 3 all dispatched to the scene.


Upon arrival, firefighters discovered several vehicles and equipment already engulfed in flames. The fire involved five trucks, a four-wheeler, a lawn mower, two truck beds, and nearby grass that had also caught fire.


Crews acted swiftly to contain and extinguish the blaze, successfully preventing it from spreading to nearby structures and additional property. Their coordinated efforts brought the situation under control in a timely manner.


No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Baldwin County Fire Investigators.


Officials commended all responding units for their rapid response and effective teamwork in managing the incident.
