Orland, ME - On 21 March 2026 approximately 7:50 p.m., the department was dispatched to assist the Penobscot Fire Department with a serious motor vehicle accident on Front Ridge Road near the town line. Eight personnel responded with Engine 512 and personal vehicles, while three additional personnel with Rescue 581 closed the road at Cedar Swamp Road and managed traffic diversion. All units cleared the scene by 11:38 p.m. The incident was described as a challenging call for all responders. It was recorded as Call 28.
