Mutual Aid Units from Long Beach Respond to Long Beach Road Fire

LONG BEACH, NY — February 26th — In response to a working home fire on Long Beach Road, the Island Park Fire Department sought mutual aid from the City of Long Beach New York Fire Department, located at 1 W Chester St., Long Beach, NY, United States, 11561. Assistant Chiefs Reinhard and Ray responded with Engine 2342, Ladder 2372, and Ambulance 2321. When Long Beach personnel arrived, they helped Island Park firemen with support and suppression tasks while EMS units were ready to provide medical assistance.


Nassau County's coordinated response system, which unites nearby agencies during working incidents, was used by additional mutual assistance departments. In order to support overhaul operations and help control the fire, firefighters collaborated with Island Park staff. After clearing the area, units resumed their duties.
