Mutual Aid Assists at Glen Cove Residential Fire

GLEN COVE, NY — February 25th — Following many reports to Nassau County Fire Communications, the City of Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department, New York, responded to a reported house fire at 5 Beverly Road. Chief Justin Valeo arrived. and stated that a two-story home's living room was emitting a lot of smoke. The first due engine was Pacific Company Engine 523, which was followed by Sea Cliff Ladder 574.


Suppression and support activities were aided by additional Glen Cove units and mutual help organizations. In roughly forty minutes, the fire was contained by firefighters. Glen Cove Police and City of Glen Cove EMS were on the scene. Firefighters from Jericho and East Norwich were on standby. The cause is being looked into by the Nassau County Fire Marshal. There were no serious injuries recorded.
