March 14, 2026 — The Unity Fire Department responded around 1400 hours to a reported vehicle fire on Cold Pond Road with possible exposure to a nearby residence.
Upon arrival, crews found a single vehicle fully involved with fire extending toward the structure. Deputy Chief Brown requested additional assistance from Acworth to support operations.
Firefighters deployed an attack line and quickly brought the fire under control, preventing further extension to the home. No injuries were reported, and the fire is not considered suspicious.
