Spencerport, NY — March 15th — A house fire on Lyell Road was reported during the evening, and Spencerport Fire District firefighters attended. Responding units eventually verified that the location was within the Gates Fire area, despite the incident's initial dispatch to an address thought to be in the Spencerport area. Gates personnel received assistance with fireground operations from three Spencerport units that stayed on the scene.
