This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Irondequoit, NY — March 9th — In the afternoon, the Point Pleasant Fire Department was called to a reported car accident on Sea Breeze Drive north of the Avenue. When emergency personnel arrived, they discovered cars involved in a collision on the lakefront route. Alongside EMS staff, firefighters helped with medical treatment, guarded the area, and inspected the cars for dangers.

While rescuers assessed those injured and attempted to maintain the roads safe for passing cars, traffic control was created. Sea Breeze Drive is a popular route that leads to Lake Ontario's recreational areas, and local law enforcement agencies often prepare for car accident events. The situation was cleared and departmental units were put back into action once patients were assessed and the cars were pulled off the road.
