On March 7, firefighters from the Holbrook Fire Department responded to a suspected kitchen fire near the department's headquarters.
Crews responded promptly and discovered a small fire in the kitchen section of the residence. Firefighters secured the situation and ensured that the fire was completely extinguished before inspecting the structure for any further spread.
The event was brought under control without further escalation, and units were able to clear the site and return to service in under an hour.
