Concord, NH- March 14. City firefighters were dispatched to the area of Manchester Street and Airport Road for a reported house fire at around 0300 hours. First due firefighters arrived to find heavy fire showing from the second floor and attic of a large 2 1/2 story vacant house. The house located at 241 Airport Road had been abandoned for many years, and it was believed to have homeless people in and out of the house as well. A Second alarm was transmitted bringing in mutual aid to cover the city firehouses and extra manpower to the scene. The fire was Under Control at 4:42 am and no injuries were reported.
