On February 25, units from Howells Fire Company No. 1 responded to an automatic fire alarm throughout the afternoon. After conducting an investigation, firefighters concluded that the alert was caused by burnt food. Crews ventilated the building to remove the smoke before returning equipment to service. Cars 1 and 3, Squad 111, Tanker 112, and Fire Police 115 were on the scene.
