On March 18, at 12:53 a.m., the Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to a fire service call after a resident reported an oil odor inside a home on Maple Street in the Village of Broadalbin. Units were deployed to examine the report and inspect the circumstances inside the property.
Firefighters used a carbon monoxide meter to monitor the property and ensure there were no dangerous readings. Crews assessed the situation and attempted to ensure the residence was safe for the inhabitants.
