Young Crew Takes Charge in Bucksport Fire Call

Penobscot and Castine Fire Departments were also alerted. Initial reports indicated smoke and heat within the structure, with the caller believing the fire had already been extinguished.
Shortly after Bucksport units arrived on scene, all mutual aid companies were advised to stand down and return to quarters. Engine 511 and Rescue 581 were already en route, while Tanker 551 was in the process of being staffed when the cancellation was issued.
