National Grid Called After Service Line Incident

Broadalbin, NY — March 14th — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to a fire service call at 1:42 p.m. on Ridge Road in the Town of Broadalbin after receiving reports of a tree falling on a service line extending from a power pole to a home. When units arrived, they discovered the weather head hanging from the home, causing a utility danger.

A Broadalbin-Kennyetto incident commander requested that National Grid respond to the scene to repair the damaged service connection. Firefighters secured the area and supervised the situation until the utility issue was resolved.
