March 12, 2026 — 2:38 p.m. — Rescue 7 from the Birdsboro-Union Fire Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Chestnut Street (Route 345) and Shed Road in Union Township.
Upon arrival, responding crews located a vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a roadside embankment and traffic sign. Firefighters assessed the scene and located a male occupant who sustained minor injuries during the incident.
Emergency responders evaluated the individual while crews ensured the vehicle and surrounding area were safe. The impact caused visible front-end damage to the vehicle and displaced roadside signage along the shoulder of the roadway.
Firefighters and emergency personnel remained on scene for approximately 30 minutes managing the incident before clearing the scene and returning to service.
