Macon, GA - Macon-Bibb County Fire was alerted just after 12:30 P.M. on March 4th for a reported fire at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center/Jail. Crews arrived and found smoke showing after an inmate set the fire. The fire was extinguished quickly and ventilation was set up. There was minor damage inside the jail, which was contained to a cabinet. One person was transported for smoke inhalation.
