Crews arrived, verified that the fire was operational, and started suppressing it. The Breesport Fire Department, Chemung Fire Department, Elmira Heights Fire Department, Erin Volunteer Fire Department, Southport Fire Department, and East Hill Volunteer Fire Department all responded to the request for mutual help.
Baldwin Code Enforcement and Erway Ambulance also responded to support operations.
